Earlier this year, the King-Smith family had a very exciting day, not only were we celebrating the centenary of Dick King-Smith’s birth, but we also had a brand-new story to share with the world!
A few years after Dick died, his daughter Liz discovered an unfinished manuscript in her loft, written by Dick but never published. Because it wasn’t complete, we asked Dick’s great granddaughter Josie Rogers to finish the story, making it a unique collaboration between the two of them!
The television company ITV West came to film the launch of Ambrose Follows His Nose in Farmborough School near Bath, the school at which Dick taught for seven years, before he became an author.
