Babe was released in cinemas in 1995, 30 years ago this year.

Ten years ago, to coincide with Babe’s twentieth anniversary, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and original soundtrack composer, Nigel Westlake, joined forces to present the world premiere of Babe: The Twentieth Anniversary Concert. Below, you can watch a short video of that performance…

From New York’s Lincoln Centre to the Sydney Opera House, Babe in Concert reached an audience of many thousands in 2015 and 2016, following performances by the New York Philharmonic, Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmanian, Canberra & Darwin Symphony Orchestras.

Wouldn’t it be lovely if something like this could happen again, for Babe’s 30th anniversary?
