While he is helping his grandmother clear out her attic, Ned makes an astonishing discovery – a speaking Victorian doll! Ned and Lady Daisy are soon firm friends and she proves very useful for school history projects. And when he’s teased at school for playing with a doll, Ned has to learn to stand up for himself to protect Lady Daisy.
But when the doll gets stolen, Ned is worried he’ll never see her again . . .
