Henrietta Hickathrift is seventy-five and bored with the old people’s home where she lives. She runs away to the seaside to start a new life; unfortunately she’s only got a penny left and nowhere to sleep. Luckily, the Good family find Henny and decide to adopt her.
But in her own way, Henny seems to bring luck to the family – even winning the Lottery!
